Rivers“ by german artist Peter Bialobrzeski is a compilation of photographs ranging from as far back as 1996 from the Ganges in India stretching to a reproduction of the famous Ponte Vecchio view in a car garage in Florence taken in early 2020. Bialobrzeski takes the viewer further from the Yangon River in Yangon Myannmar (2016), via the River Elbe in his hometown Hamburg, Germany (2004) to the „Ruhr“ near Hattingen in Germany (2004)and further onwards to the Danube in Budapest, Hungary (2019). Further stops on this journey are: The Aji River, Osaka, Japan, (2015) the Buriganga River in Dhaka, (2019) Bangladesh, the Ganges in Rishikesh, India (1998) and last but not least the mighty Yangtze in Wuhan, China (2017).
