ΟrΟ

di Cristina Abati e Angela Burico

ΟρΟ | As the brainchild of Cristina Abati e Angela Burico

We meet in a shared space and we begin to dig, to sift, to riddle, to select, just like the gold miners. In the space there are two different and parallel figures, balancing like the tightrope walkers, they are just come back from the dark forest.
They have the strength that opens the lion’s mouth wide, the lightness of something that crosses the sky.
They are in that infinite present in which nothing can be remembered and everything appears at the same time.

Oro is a seeking project.

Gold can be found but it cannot be created. Maybe it is generated after a profound transformation. It is rare, dense, ductile. It is almost incorruptible.

Everyone digs their own tunnel.
Everyone searches in his own groove, for his own life.

But gold is a relational metal, it appears where body, spirit and thought converge; it takes place where the figures, distinctly pure and personal, inhabit the same space and where they come together through a mysterious and passive listening.
